Caesar Zombies

This is what really happened. Julius Caesar's buddies were about to kill him when he saw the zombies coming. He lost all hope seeing that he'd be murdered by his friends and his corpse eaten by the undead... ... ... or something.

More Old digital work.

Went to Zion and took this pic from the top of Angel's Landing. Used that pic as reference. 2008
My idea of psychology. Putting hearts in robots since 1854.
Some hills up the canyon. Referenced from another of my photos. 2008

Old School Digital

This is the first picture I ever finished with my wacom. I did it for my sister Galadriel who's now British. She wanted a boat in a tree. Done in 2007
This was my first ever digital picture. I did it with a mouse. Its inspired by Oddworld... one of the most artistically beautiful games ever. Finished in 2002 or so.

Some digital stuff from the last few years.

Study for some water.
This was my color reference for my drawing project. It was a lot more fun than the prismacolor version.  It helped me work out all my color issues in a more forgiving way. I adjusted the perspective on the hard copy. This one sort of loses the third point of perspective because you can see the tops of the cliffs.
This is my junkies pic. Still a work in progress.... need to get back on it. Haven't worked on it in a year or so and started it a few years ago. But the junkies are partying in the junkyard. There's the rat, pig, couch potato, weasel...
This was an environment inspired by Bob Ross done in 2008 or so.
I saw the most ghetto sweet Winnebago and hadda draw  one.

Master copies.

These are all studies done from living masters. I don't take credit for inventing them, but I love their styles and want to practice their technique to get better. Each  are 3  to six hour studies done with pencil on 16x20

Kekai, of course.

Painting projects.

This is another environment I did for my game but in a better medium. Its done in oil about 30x40. Another painting I did was a study done from master orientalist, Ludwig Deutsch. Its called,  Palace Guard. It looks freakin' awesome, but is currently on display at the SUU campus.

Drawing 3 projects.

All of these were done  in prismacolors  with a marker wash undernieth. The project was to do some designs for a video game I'm working on. All are very detailed and 16 x 20 or so, but my camera doesn't take that good of pictures and my scanner doesn't go bigger than 10 x 12. The hard copies are a lot more brilliantly colored.
This is a cutscene where you fight this guy and when he loses he drinks a potion and grows giant sized. What happens depends on how good you are.
This is a bad guy character. He's the ultimate swordsman in the realm. He's not the main bad guy but his right hand man. Number 1. Darth Vader to emperor Palpatine, or Minnie Me to Dr. Evil. There are soime of his actions  drawn on that bar at the very bottom of the pic, but i didn't include them.
This is my environment. Its the canyon on the way to the crystal plateau. It's framed so this has a little glare on it, but whatever. Here's my monster and first of the series. He's the jungle guardian, Grognak. His essence is that glow in his chest and his body is whatever is near him. Some stuff he does is on the side of him. Oh yeah, I was talking to some friends about Dragon Ball Z when I was designing the guy so his hair....

More figure drawing sessions.. Usually 2 hours each.

Final this semester. She's way hotter than that, but  I didn't feel like perfecting the face. Just wanted to work on subtle angles  on the body.
Same pose as the final, just a different angle.
Randy... the most fun model. Yes his head is small.
I hate when I cut off the feet. GAAAA!!!!I like the way this one turned out... yes his hip is a bit pointy. Plus he had epic hair.

Figure studies drawn from life. All charcoal.

Spring 2010
Fall 09. First ever clothed figure.
Done spring 2010
Not so much a figure, but a ceramic mold.Last drawing done in my first semester.

Spring and fall 2009 Finals

A  Final for my Drawing 2 class. Supposed to be a contemporary Rumple Stilskin... inthe form of Tim Geithner. Done in pastels. A little warped from taking of photo of it. I don't have a scanner big enough for it to fit in. These are all about 18x24
Self portrait done for a final in 2d Design class.
Final drawing in drawing one. Ceramic cast of Ceasar or something. Done in charcoal.Study for my final... half an hour or so.
